Searching the Fan by Price

All areas in any market have price points or thresholds where features, sizes and scopes of homes change.  In many cases this can be developer created (grouping homes by price in a cul-de-sac, for example) or it can be more organic and evolutionary.

The Fan District falls in the latter catagory.

The Fan District’s most affordable homes are typically along its most heavily trafficked routes (with Monument Avenue being the obvious exception) or closer to the District border.  Streets that serve as a buffers to the more industrial sections or to retail zones can have values negatively impacted.  While proximity to the retail/entertainment zones can be a value enhancer, homes adjacent  to commercial properties often trade a discount.
